Important Reminders

  • All documents must be in English or Portuguese
  • Documents must be issued within the last 3 months
  • Documents must be clear and legible
  • Documents with missing information will not be accepted

Passport

For a good quality passport scan, please follow these guidelines:

Ensure that the passport is open and all pages are visible in the scan.

Scan the document in color, not black and white.

Set the resolution of the scan to at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) to ensure clear and legible image quality.

Save the scanned image in a common file format, such as JPEG or PNG, for easy viewing on any device.

IMPORTANT: If your signature is located on a separate page in your passport, please make sure to upload a scan or photo of that page along with the front page. Including this additional page will assist us in verifying your identity and ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of your application.

Proof Of Address

As proof of address, we accept either a driver’s license, utility bill, or bank statement.

Firstly, your proof of address must be in English or Portuguese language and must be from a location outside of Portugal. This is to ensure that we can verify your address and that it is a valid form of identification.

Additionally, your proof of address must contain both your name and your full address. By full address, we mean that it should include your street, house number, apartment number (if applicable), postal code, and city. This information is necessary to provide to tax officers and in the future, it will be used in your NIF.



Lastly, it is important that the scan or photo of your proof of address is of good quality and is readable. This is to ensure that our team can easily verify the information on your document and process your submission quickly.
